Clean Room Data Upload

Securely upload and activate your first-party data for audience activation and/or offline sale attribution

Updated this week

Overview

The Clean Room tool enables you to securely upload first-party (1P) data for audience activation and offline sales attribution. This capability allows you to collaborate with trusted data partners, such as Experian, while maintaining strict privacy and security controls.

By leveraging privacy-safe environments, the Clean Room ensures your data can be matched, enriched, and activated without unnecessary exposure or risk.

What You Can Upload

You can upload first-party datasets that support:

  • Audience activation (e.g., CRM lists, customer segments)

  • Offline sales attribution (e.g., transaction or conversion data)

*Connect with your campaign manager or JamLoop support to specify your use-case.

Common file types

  • CSV files (recommended)

  • Standard delimited text files

Typical data fields

  • Names (first, last)

  • Mailing addresses

  • Email addresses (hashed or unhashed, depending on workflow)

  • Phone numbers

  • Customer IDs

  • Transaction data (for attribution use cases)

    • revenue

    • store / location

    • product_code

How It Works

  1. Upload your file through the Clean Room interface

  2. Your data is securely transferred to a partner-accessible environment

  3. Data partners perform matching, enrichment, or measurement workflows

  4. Results are returned in an aggregated, privacy-safe format

At no point is your raw data exposed broadly within JamLoop systems.

Data Security & Access Controls

Files uploaded through the Clean Room are written directly to secure, partner-accessible environments.

  • Data is not accessible to JamLoop users

  • Files are not broadly available for listing or download within JamLoop systems

  • Access is strictly limited to authorized personnel under controlled conditions

  • All handling follows JamLoop’s Information Security Policy

These safeguards ensure your customer data remains protected while enabling compliant collaboration with trusted partners.

Privacy & Compliance

The Clean Room is designed to support privacy-first data workflows:

  • Enables data collaboration without raw data sharing

  • Supports secure matching and attribution

  • Helps maintain compliance with applicable privacy regulations and partner requirements

Best Practices

To ensure smooth processing and optimal results:

  • Use consistent formatting (e.g., lowercase emails, standardized phone formats)

  • Remove duplicate records

  • Include only necessary fields for your use case

  • Follow any partner-specific formatting guidelines when provided

*Template is available for download in the Clean Room
