What is CallRail?
CallRail is a call tracking platform that helps businesses measure phone call conversions generated by their marketing efforts. Using Website Pools and dynamic number insertion (DNI), CallRail can associate incoming calls with website visitors and provide attribution data for reporting and analysis.
A Website Pool consists of a group of tracking phone numbers that CallRail dynamically assigns to website visitors. By showing a unique number to each visitor, CallRail can associate incoming calls with specific website sessions and marketing interactions, enabling more accurate conversion tracking and attribution.
The CallRail integration enables phone call conversions tracked by CallRail to be attributed back to ad exposures and reported within the platform.
How can I use my CallRail events for attribution?
Setup Website Pool with CallRail
Before configuring the integration, you must have a CallRail Website Pool configured on your website. Follow CallRail's guide to create a Website Pool and ensure Dynamic Number Insertion (DNI) is active on your site. Website Pools are required for visitor-level call attribution and IP-based conversion matching.
Follow these steps from CallRail to setup your Website Pool.
