Geo Targeting

Geo Targeting determines where your campaign can reach viewers. You'll configure geography in Step 4 of the campaign builder.

Choose a Geo Strategy

You can choose between two strategies:

1) National
Run your campaign nationwide without selecting individual geographic areas.

2) Local
Define the specific areas where you want your campaign to run. You can target:

  • ZIP Codes

  • DMAs

  • States

  • Congressional Districts

    • *Congressional District targeting reflects district boundaries for the 120th Congress (2025–2027).

You can select as many areas as needed and combine different geo types within the same campaign. For example, ZIP Codes and DMAs, or DMAs and States.

For ZIP Code targeting, you can also paste a comma-separated list of ZIP Codes to quickly add multiple locations.

Location-Based Targeting

For local campaigns, you can alternatively target viewers around a specific location, such as a store, dealership, restaurant, or other physical location.

Add your location and select a targeting radius:

  • 10 miles

  • 20 miles

  • 30 miles

  • Custom — enter your desired radius in miles

This is especially useful for businesses looking to reach households within a defined distance of one or more physical locations.

Target Areas vs. Locations

A campaign can use either Target Areas or Location Radius targeting, but not both.

If you choose Location Radius targeting, you cannot also add ZIP Codes, DMAs, States, or Congressional Districts to the same campaign.

Adding Locations

To use Location Radius targeting, the locations must first be added to the platform.

  • Advertiser Organizations: Go to Organization > Locations to add or manage locations.

  • Agency Organizations: Go to Advertisers > Select Advertiser > Locations to add or manage locations for that advertiser.

Once a location has been added, it will be available to select when setting up Location Radius targeting in the campaign builder.
